Dandelions – prologue

This spring, we are way behind in moisure; 75% below average, exactly.  When it rained and snowed this weekend, I had visions of bluebells and paintbrush in my head.  However, the first actual wildflower I saw today……. a dandelion.  DRAT!  What have we done to deserve this!

My way to weed is the “cowboy way.”  You know, dig them up by hand and stick them in a sack.  This is incredibly labor intensive (requiring lots of “linement” and tub-soaking).  Is there a better way?
